Try FileMending with sample scans

Not ready to upload your own documents? Use these three synthetic scans to see exactly what FileMending does.

These files are made-up specimens: invented names, fictional data, and a "SPECIMEN" stamp. They are not real documents. Download them, then upload them to FileMending to try the free check.

The sample files

• Sample 1: certificate (1 page, 1.2 MB)
• Sample 2: certificate (2 pages, 2.3 MB)
• Sample 3: record (3 pages, 3.5 MB)

About 7.0 MB in total (6 pages).

A good first try

1. Download all three files.
2. On the home page, set the limit to 2 MB and add the three files.
3. Press Check, then Fit. Look at the before and after sizes.
4. Click anywhere on a page preview to inspect that spot at full resolution, then try a stricter limit or grayscale.

You do not need to pay to do any of this. Nothing is charged unless you choose to download the fitted result.
