Prices exclude any tax the law requires; it is shown before you pay. MB means 1,000,000 bytes. The plan is chosen automatically as the smallest one your files fit.
What is free, and what you pay for
- Free: inspecting your files, fitting them to your limit, the before and after report with exact byte counts, and page previews.
- Paid, once: downloading the fitted files, individually or as a ZIP with a report.
- Included with the purchase: a refit window of 30 minutes or 3 attempts, in case you want different choices.
How payment and billing work
- Payment is handled by Stripe on its own hosted page. Your card details never reach FileMending's servers.
- It is a single charge in US dollars. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
- Files are released only after Stripe confirms the payment, and are deleted within one hour of finishing. Read the refund terms before you buy.
Which plan will I need?
The plan depends on how many files you upload and their total size and pages, not on how much they shrink. Ten tiny scans still fall in the "up to 10 files" plan. If your set is just over a plan's size or page limit, the next plan applies.
Who it is for, and who it is not
A good fit: people who must attach several scanned documents to an online form that caps the total upload size, and who want to keep file names and order and see exactly what changed.
Not a fit: more than 20 files in one go; file types other than PDF, JPG and PNG; merging or splitting PDFs; text recognition (OCR); or limits measured on a ZIP archive. See capabilities and limits.
